Back by popular demand, here is part two of my 2012 NHL Mock Draft:
6) Anaheim Ducks select Mathew Dumba. The Ducks need help on defense and Dumba is the top defenseman available at this position. He holds a promising future on the blueline together with Cam Fowler.
7) Minnesota Wild select Jacob Trouba. The Wild also need help on defense after trading Brent Burns. Trouba is from the Michigan area and is going to gel quickly.
8) Carolina Hurricanes select Radek Faksa. The Hurricanes need some help upfront on their top two lines. Faksa is a coveted big center.
9) Winnipeg Jets select Morgan Rielly. The Jets need to improve their defense if they intend on making the playoffs. Rielly is an excellent puck mover and may go earlier in the draft.
10) Tampa Bay Lightning select Griffin Reinhart. The Lightning need a big stay at home defenseman to help solidify the blueline. Reinhart is one of the plethora of promising young defensemen available at the 2012 NHL Draft.
