Braydon Coburn to LA Kings

philadelphia flyers trade rumors 2015

Trade rumors surround Braydon Coburn of the Philadelphia Flyers for the 2015 NHL season. The 29 year old defenseman is set to return after a foot injury. He is signed to a cap hit of $4.5 million for one more season.

GM Ron Hextall is seeking a second round draft pick because the Flyers dealt their 2015 second round pick to the NY Islanders for defenseman Andrew MacDonald. The LA Kings, St Louis Blues and NY Islanders are looking for help on the blueline, and have inquired about Coburn.

With Slava Voynov suspended indefinitely and Alec Martinez injured, the Kings are likely to pull the trigger on a Braydon Coburn deal.
