NHL Rumors: Jiri Hudler to Vancouver Canucks

Vancouver Canucks GM Jim Benning has had trade talks with several teams to bring in a reliable scoring winger. Buffalo Sabres Evander Kane was a winger that the Canucks were rumored to be in talks for, but the talks did not pan out.

The Canucks have turned their focus to several free agents: Jiri Hudler, Brandon Pirri and Radim Vrbata. Hudler is the most likely free agent to join the Canucks, according to News 1130.

It will of course depend on how much money the free agents are seeking and for how long. There is also the possibility a UFA will be invited to a training camp tryout.
