Monster Trade Rumor Involving Canucks Sedin Twins
The Vancouver Canucks made a significant trade when they moved veteran Alex Burrows, but the monster trades are just around the corner. According to Canucks GM Jim Benning, he is not done with the trades.
Over the past 13 games, the Canucks three highest paid players, Eriksson and the Sedin twins, combined for just three goals. That is $20 million in cap space for three forwards who have struggled this year.
The Sedin twins don't have time to go through a full rebuild, and their only option is to accept a trade to a playoff contender. Benning is looking to move Daniel and Henrik Sedin at the trade deadline for draft picks.
It's unlikely one team could find the cap space to take on both Sedin twins and they may be separated for the first time in their careers.
