Breaking: Ryan Getzlaf fined after sceaming homophobic slur in NHL game

Ryan Getzlaf of the Anaheim Ducks screamed at the referee “Fuc*ing c*cksucker” in game 4 against the Nashville Predators. The NHL announced on Saturday a fine of $10,000 - the maximum allowable under CBA.

Getzlaf's fine was for speaking a homophobic slur. Andrew Shaw previously called the ref a homophobic slur on TV, and received a one game suspension in the playoffs.
