Joe Thornton and Brent Burns strip down to the beards

In the ninth annual edition of ESPN The Magazine’s Body Issue, Joe Thornton and Brent Burns are among the 23 athletes featured.

Joe is frequently naked after hockey games. According to Joe's cousin Scott Thornton, the Sharks got bathrobes because Joe likes to be naked after the game.

Joe’s the reason we got bathrobes in San Jose. After a game he’d be doing interviews naked or he’d have a jock strap on, innocent things for him, so they went out and bought us official San Jose Sharks bathrobes.

Similar to Thornton, Brent Burns is not afraid to bare all. The two Sharks players posed for a nude face-off in the Body Issue.
