Penguins Evgeni Malkin and Sergei Gonchar did the unspeakable with the Stanley Cup

Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin and coach Sergei Gonchar did what no one else has ever done with the Stanley Cup. It all began when they brought the Cup to their homeland, Russia, and did this with it.

Never before had the NHL's Stanley Cup been side-by-side with the KHL’s Gagarin Cup. Cool!

Malkin has won the Stanley Cup three times, and Gonchar won it one time as a player. Neither has won the Gagarin Cup.
