Czech players disrespect ice-crew member before game

ice crew hit by puck

There was a disgraceful moment for the sport of hockey on Thursday during the World Junior Championship. An ice-crew member was adjusting the net when Czech Republic players fired pucks at him, narrowly missing his head.

The players pretended not to see him. You could see the ice-crew member's body language become angry as he stormed off the ice. On his way off the ice, he was hit by a puck that ricocheted from the Swedish team.

This treatment of the ice-crew member is controversial. He may not be as famous as the hockey players. But he is a human being, and deserves to be treated with respect. Let us know what you think about this incident in the comments below.
