BREAKING: Flyers Acquire Goalie From Detroit

As the we inch closer to the trade deadline on February 26th, teams are starting to make move and we have another trade to announce.

The Philadelphia Flyers acquire goaltender Petr Mrazek from the Detroit Red Wings in exchange for a pair of draft picks that have enough conditions to make your head spin.

-Detroit is guaranteed at least one 4th round pick (2018) from this trade.
-If the Flyers make the playoffs and Mrazek wins 5 regular season games, that 4th rounder becomes a 3rd rounder (2018).
-If the Flyers make the eastern conference final, and Mrazek wins 6 playoff games, the now 3rd rounder becomes a 2nd (2018).

The second pick is fairly simple. If Philadelphia re-signs him in the off-season, Detroit gets the Flyers 2019 3rd round pick.

With the injury to Brian Elliot and now Michal Neuvirth, Mrazek will likely take the reins as the starter hoping to keep the Flyers in playoff contention.

Mrazek has played in 22 games with the Red Wings this season, managing a 2.89 GAA and a .910 SV%.
