Michael Grabner out indefinitely with eye injury

The Arizona Coyotes will be without Michael Grabner due to an eye injury the forward suffered during the first period of the Coyotes 6-1 win against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday.

Grabner was clipped in the left eye by St. Louis forward Sammy Blais. Grabner dropped to the ice and was helped to the locker room and did not return.

Grabner has 11 points (six goals, five assists) so far this season which include a league leading four shorthanded goals.

Below is a picture that Grabner posted to his instagram. As you can see, it's pretty gruesome. Hopefully there are no permanent damages and he has a quick recovery.
