Report: Seattle GM in Hot Water Already

Seattle General Manager Ron Francis has been in the middle of talks within the Bill Peters scandal regarding the physical abuse of players.
Peters stepped down as head coach of the Calgary Flames after an investigation into racist comments made towards a former player. Amid the investigation, a former Carolina Hurricane under Peters tweeted about the physical abuse he faced as he entered the league.

It was reported that Carolina's team captains spoke Ron Francis, the Hurricane's General Manager at the time, about the abusive Peters. Initial reports and statements from, then, majority owner Peter Karmanos was that ownership was not made aware of said abuse.

Ron Francis took to the media today to address his position in the investigation.
Someone is clearly lying. As this story continues to evolve with more and more conflicting stories, the eyes begin to look closer and closer at Francis.
