6 Goalies Remain In Trade Talks as Deadline Approaches
All sorts of buzz surrounding Sergei Bobrovsky and Jordan Binnington as the top two goaltenders that could change teams before today's 3pm ET trade deadline. But there are several others out on the market, and we've got the latest intel from former NHL goalie-turned-insider Kevin Weekes.

trade scenarios. Goalie Market is intriguing.#HockeyX
Weekes has revealed that the following goalies are being discussed in various trade proposals as of Friday morning:
- Sergei Bobrovsky
- Jesper Wallstedt
- Jordan Binnington
- Anthony Stolarz
- Connor Ingram
- Stuart Skinner
Bobrovsky and Binnington's names are picking up steam as the deadline approaches. Both are Stanley Cup winners, and always rise to the big moments.
But there's one other netminder with a Cup ring on the list, that being Anthony Stolarz of the Toronto Maple Leafs. His name has been rumored for a while now, but his mostly poor performance (and injuries) this season have hurt his value around the league.
Stolarz was the backup to Bobrovsky for the Florida Panthers during their 2024 Cup run, though he only got into one game during the postseason. He did have the league's best save percentage that season (minimum 20 starts) at .925, and he led the NHL again at .924 last season with the Leafs.
Toronto has a three-goalie tandem, including Joseph Woll and the promising Dennis Hildeby, who had a terrific 19-game rookie debut with the Leafs this season, though is back with the Marlies in the AHL right now.
Ingram was acquired by the Oilers earlier this year, and right now has the upper hand on Tristan Jarry for the starter's role. But it sounds like the Oilers might be eyeing the big upgrade they need. They've been linked to Bobrovsky today.
