Video: Madison Bowey demolishes Brad Marchand

The Detroit Red Wings played against the Boston Bruins on Sunday night. Although the Red Wings are eliminated from the playoff picture, it's clear they were bringing a high level of effort and physicality to the game.

During the first period, Red Wings defenseman Madison Bowey leveled Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand in open ice.

As the pest Marchand carried the puck through the neutral zone, Bowey finished his check and sent him flying to the ice. Marchand didn't stay down for long, and popped back up on his skates. He didn't appear injured on the play.
