3 Potential Free-Agent Destinations for Sabres' Alex Tuch
Buffalo Sabres forward Alex Tuch is the NHL's top pending unrestricted free agent (UFA). The Sabres are certainly going to look to keep him around, and there is a good chance he will stay put in Buffalo. However, it would also be understandable if he looked to land a major payday in free agency.
Due to this, let's look at three teams that could target Tuch if he becomes a UFA this July.
Boston Bruins
The Bruins have been connected to Tuch in the past, and it would make a lot of sense if they pursued him in free agency. He would give them another much-needed and proven top-six winger to work with. He could fit wonderfully on their second line and power play if signed.
Los Angeles Kings
The Kings have had a shaky 2025-26 season, and their lack of offense has been a major reason for it. While they added Artemi Panarin at the deadline, they still could use another star winger in their top six. Signing Tuch would give them just that, so keep an eye on LA if the big winger hits the market.
New Jersey Devils
The Devils desperately need another impactful winger in their top six, so they should be a team to watch when it comes to Tuch this summer. He would give them a clear answer for their first line with Jack Hughes and Jesper Bratt, and could be exactly the player who helps New Jersey bounce back next season.
