Former Arizona Coyotes Forward Heads Back To KHL

Dmitrij Jaskin's return to the NHL is over after just 12 games, as the 29-year-old winger has signed a one-year deal with SKA St. Petersburg.

Jaskin was unfortunately limited to only 12 games due to a season-ending knee injury. During those contests, he only recorded an assist and had a minus-6 rating. It was just a very rough NHL return for the Russian winger, and now he is returning to the KHL because of it.

Before signing with the Coyotes for the 2021-22 season, Jaskin was a star in the KHL. In 117 games over two seasons with Dynamo Moskva, he had 69 goals to go along with 54 assists. Perhaps if he puts together another excellent season, we could see him get another chance in the NHL during the 2023-24 season. Time will tell on that front.
