Calgary Flames Re-Sign Forward

The Calgary Flames have signed Adam Ruzicka to a two-year, $1.525 million contract.

Ruzicka appeared in 28 games this past season with the Flames, where he had five goals and five assists. The 6-foot-4 forward also played in 16 games for the Stockton Heat. During them, he scored 11 goals and recorded a solid 20 points. Now, he will be aiming to cement himself a spot in Calgary's bottom six in 2022-23.

It's hard to find anything to complain about when it comes to this deal. Ruzicka is a young player on the rise who will continue to have a small cap hit. Let's see how much the 23-year-old progresses during this contract from here.
