Arizona Coyotes Rumors: Goaltender Available for Trade

The Arizona Coyotes are ready to be major sellers at the 2023 Trade Deadline, as players like Jakob Chychrun, Shayne Gostisbehere, and Nick Bjugstad are expected to be traded because of it. However, now another Coyote could be on the move, as NHL insider Elliotte Friedman has reported that Karel Vejmelka's name is out there on the trade market.

That does not automatically mean that Vejmelka will be moved, but it is clear that the Coyotes are at least willing to hear offers for the netminder. The 26-year-old has the potential to be a very solid addition to a team looking to beef up their goaltending depth, as he has proven to be an effective goaltender at the NHL level.

In 38 games this season with the Coyotes, the 6-foot-4 goalie has a 15-17-5 record, 3.20 GAA, and .906 SV%. Expect teams like the Los Angeles Kings, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Buffalo Sabres to be among the clubs to express interest in him. Alas, we will need to wait and see if he ends up getting moved at the deadline from here.
