NHL Trade Rumors: Evander Kane to Tampa Bay Lightning

The Buffalo Sabres are looking to trade Evander Kane before the 2018 NHL trade deadline.

Kane becomes an unrestricted free agent in July. He is coming off a $5.25 million cap hit contract. The 26 year old left winger is on a 39 goal, 75 point pace, which would be a career year if he keeps producing at this rate.

NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman told Calgary's Sportsnet 960 he expects Kane to be dealt, listing the Los Angeles Kings, Columbus Blue Jackets and Tampa Bay Lightning as destinations. The Kings could offer Jake Muzzin. The Blue Jackets could offer Artemi Panarin. The Lightning could offer Alex Killorn.
