Milan Lucic Signs 3 Years with Bruins

The Boston Bruins have signed power forward Milan Lucic to a three year contract. The total contract is worth $12.25 million, $4.08 million per season. For a player that has a difficult time scoring 20 goals and has yet to score 50 points in a season, the contract is overpayment. The Bruins are banking that he will improve in the next few seasons thus living up to his contract.

Expect Marc Savard to be traded soon as the Bruins need to clear up cap space.
