Steven Stamkos Signs 5 Years with Lightning

The trade rumors concerning Steven Stamkos ended today when the Tampa Bay Lightning signed the restricted free agent to a 5 year deal. The contract is worth $7.5 million per year. The Toronto Maple Leafs and Winnipeg Jets did not end up putting an offer sheet on Stamkos.
