Trade rumors continue to surround the Phoenix Coyotes and Kyle Turris for the 2011-2012 NHL season. Sources from ESPN.COM say "Turris is looking for a three-year deal worth an average of slightly more than $4 million annually or a two-year deal worth slightly more than $3 million. Those numbers would put Turris in the same high-rent district as James van Riemsdyk, who recently signed a six-year extension with the Philadelphia Flyers worth an average of $4.25 million."

Turris who is 22 years old is coming of a 11 goal and 14 assist season. He has done nothing to warrant that kind of money. Earlier this summer, Ilya Bryzgalov the Phoenix Coyotes' number one goaltender ditched the Coyotes for a big payout from the Philadelphia Flyers. The Phoenix Coyotes cannot afford to lose another quality free agent.
