Kyle Turris Traded to Ottawa Senators

Kyle Turris has been traded from the Phoenix Coyotes to the Ottawa Senators in return for David Rundblad and a second round draft pick. This deal took longer than expected as Turris held out for the first six weeks of the 2011-2012 NHL season. The 22 year old signed a two year deal worth $1.4 million a year and was swiftly traded to the Senators.

The young center has 0 points in 6 games with the Phoenix Coyotes. With his new team the Ottawa Senators, Kyle Turris is aiming to prove he was worthy of the 3rd overall selection in the NHL Entry Draft.
