Jonathan Bernier Trade Rumors

Sources close to the LA Kings say Jonathan Bernier is being shopped for the 2012 NHL season. Bernier is 23 years old and was an 11th overall draft pick. He has been developing nicely but does not get enough games at a NHL level. With Jonathan Quick stealing the show in Los Angeles, it is unlikely he will ever get enough game minutes.

GM Dean Lombardi is not happy with his team's offensive output. He is looking to make a deal to improve his team up front. The Phoenix Coyotes, Tampa Bay Lightning, Columbus Blue Jackets and Edmonton Oilers are interested in making a deal with the LA Kings before the 2012 NHL trade deadline.
