Rick Nash Demanded Trade from Blue Jackets
Rick Nash of the Columbus Blue Jackets was not traded before the 2012 NHL Trade Deadline as the hockey world was anticipating. Every team in the NHL spoke to GM Scott Howson about the four-time All-Star. Some offers were serious but Howson did not pull the trigger because he did not get his asking price.
After the trade deadline passed, Howson revealed that Nash asked him for a trade in January. The Blue Jackets are going to attempt to trade Rick Nash in the 2012-2013 offseason when other big names such as Zach Parise and Shea Weber become available.
