2012 NHL Mock Draft - Part 1 (1-5)

nhl-mock-draft-2012
The 2012 NHL Draft Order is set and now it is time for my mock draft:
1) Edmonton Oilers select Nail Yakupov. The Oilers are loaded at wing with Jordan Eberle and Taylor Hall. Nail is the best player available (BPA), so the Oilers continue to stack their wings.
2) Columbus Blue Jackets select Mikhail Grigorenko. The Blue Jackets need a big number one center which Mikhail is projected to be and he is also the BPA.
3) Montreal Canadiens select Alexander Galchenyuk. The Canadiens need a big center and Alexander is projected to be a first liner.
4) New York Islanders select Filip Forsberg. The Islanders have solid center depth with John Tavares and they need talented wingers to play on the top line.
5) Toronto Maple Leafs select Ryan Murray. The Leafs pick a good leader in Murray who can jump into the NHL and improve their defense, which was a mess.

Stay tuned for Part 2 of my NHL Mock Draft 2012!!
