NHL Trade Rumors: Tyler Seguin to Columbus Blue Jackets

Tyler Seguin of the Boston Bruins is the subject of rampant trade speculation for the 2013 NHL offseason. The Bruins did well in the playoffs but lost out to the Chicago Blackhawks in the Stanley Cup final. Seguin is taking some flak for the defeat because he only scored 1 goal in 22 games in the playoffs.

Seguin is a 21 year old center who has a cap hit of $5.75 million until the 2018-19 season. The Bruins have several players to sign and are close to the salary cap. They are deep at the center ice position with Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci, making Seguin expendable. The Tampa Bay Lightning, Calgary Flames, Dallas Stars and Columbus Blue Jackets are showing interest in Tyler Seguin.
