Jonas Hiller Trade Rumors

Trade rumors surround the Anaheim Ducks and goaltender Jonas Hiller for the 2013-2014 NHL season. Hiller is a UFA, coming off a $4.5 million cap hit contract. He is going to look for a similar amount of money or more in free agency. The Ducks are close to the cap and cannot afford to resign Hiller.

With Jonas Hiller, Viktor Fasth, Frederik Andersen and John Gibson, the Ducks have many talented goalies and can easily afford to move a goalie. Hiller is the goalie most likely to be moved because he is going to demand an expensive contract when he hits free agency. The Edmonton Oilers, Nashville Predators, Florida Panthers and New York Islanders are reportedly all interested in acquiring Jonas Hiller from the Anaheim Ducks.
