Many teams are looking to acquire a goal scorer on July 1 NHL Free Agency. Boston Bruins Jarome Iginla is the most consistent goal scorer available because he is a lock for 30 goals a season. Last season, he scored 30 goals and 61 points in 78 games. He scored 30+ goals for the 12th consecutive non-lockout season.

The 36 year old right winger is coming off a one year contract worth $6 million. Iginla has made over $78 million in his career, and has never won a Stanley Cup. At this stage in his career, he only accepts offers from contenders.

The Bruins cannot afford to re-sign Iginla because they have no cap space. Iginla is looking for a two year deal that pays him an average annual salary of $6 million. The Anaheim Ducks are attempting to sign Jarome Iginla, who would make an excellent replacement for Teemu Selanne.
