Leading up to the 2014 NHL trade deadline, Jaromir Jagr said he would not report to his new team if moved from the New Jersey Devils. Jagr seems to have softened up to the idea of being traded in 2015. "I have no problem with anything,” Jagr said. “It's up to (Devils general manager) Lou (Lamoriello). He knows me. I know him. I've got no problem with (being traded). If he wants to move me, he will. If he doesn't, he doesn't.”

Jagr has 21 points, which is tied for the team lead and he is able to produce at the age of 42 years old. He earns $3.5 million and is going to be an unrestricted free agent. Jagr does not like playing for the stuggling Devils and wants to be moved to a Cup contender. “In the last 25 years, I've never been in this situation,” Jagr said. “I've never been on a team that was almost the worst in the NHL. It's new to me.”

Jagr's old team, the Pittsburgh Penguins, where he reached the playoffs all 11 seasons with them, is looking for a top 6 winger of Jagr's calibre. The Montreal Canadiens and Anaheim Ducks are also interested in acquiring Jaromir Jagr before the 2015 NHL trade deadline.
