Monster Trade Rumor Out of Montreal

pk subban nhl trade deadline rumors

The Montreal Canadiens are gauging the trade market for PK Subban. Subban was benched and blamed by Habs head coach Michel Therrien for Montreal’s road loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday night after committing a costly turnover in the final three minutes.

Louis Jean of TVA Sports tweeted Friday morning that Subban’s name has come up around the league with the NHL trade deadline approaching soon.

Subban leads the Canadiens in scoring with 44 points in 58 games played this season. He’s also driving puck possession at 5 on 5 with a solid 53.25 Corsi percentage, second best among Habs defenseman. Are the Montreal Canadiens entertaining the idea of trading away their No. 1 defenseman and former Norris Trophy winner PK Subban?
