Columbus Fire Dept. dispatched to Nationwide Arena

The Columbus Fire Department are on the look out for an NHL team that's been on fire since November 29th.

After winning 3-1 against the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday night, the Columbus Blue Jackets have themselves a pretty good streak going. The Blue Jackets are only 1 win shy of tying the Pittsburgh Penguins' 1992-93 record with a 17 consecutive win streak. Sergei Bobrovsky has been unbeatable in net during the last 12 games, getting the record of 12-0-0 during the month of December with a 1.75 goals against average and a .939 save percentage to guide the Jackets to a perfect 14-0-0 in the month of December.

Cam Atkinson, Brandon Saad, Alexander Wennberg and captain Nick Foligno have all been on fire this season having already more than 30 points in 36 games. Cam Atkinson currently leads the team with 18 goals and 20 for a total of 38 points in 36 Games. Atkinson is currently place 6th in the points department across the League with an average of 1.06 points per game. Atkinson is 7th in the goals department with 18.

Goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky leads all goaltenders in wins with 25-5-2. Minnesota Wild's goaltender Devan Dubnyk, Montreal Canadiens' Carey Price, Boston Bruins' Tuukka Rask and San Jose Sharks' Martin Jones are at 19 wins a piece.

With saves like this, we all know what Bobrovsky is doing. Never giving up on the play.

So if you see the Columbus Blue Jackets, the Columbus Fire Department is asking you to call them.
