NHL Trade Rumors: Gabriel Landeskog for Jake Muzzin

The Colorado Avalanche and Los Angeles Kings are in trade talks - Gabriel Landeskog for Jake Muzzin and a first round draft pick.

Avalanche GM Joe Sakic desperately wants to improve the defense, and is willing to move captain Landeskog. The 24 year old left winger is struggling with 14 points in 31 games this season, but he is an upgrade to Kings' top six.

In return for Landeskog, the Avalanche would acquire a reliable top 4 defenseman in Muzzin and a first round draft pick to help with the rebuild.
