Columbus resigns star forward to 7-year extension

It looks like the GM of the Blue Jackets has been busy this morning.
Columbus has signed forward Cam Atkinson so a 7-year, 41.125 million dollar extension. This will come with a cap hit of 5.875 million dollars annually.

The 28-year old American forward was selected 157th overall by Columbus in the 2008 draft, and has 233 points in 397 games with the Blue Jackets in his career.
