John Tavares will not return to the New York Islanders. Losing their star captain, is not sitting well with many Islanders fans.

The Athletic’s Arthur Staple confirmed the 27-year-old star centre is moving on from the Islanders shortly after the UFA market opened. Tavares will most likely sign with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
