John Tortorella calls out his own player again

John Tortorella isn't shy of saying how it is whether it being with the media or even his own players. After forward Anthony Duclair was a healthy scratch once again, he had just three words to explain why.

After starting the season on the right foot, it seems as if Duclair's season is going in a downwards spiral. On Monday, head coach John Tortorella made Duclair a healthy scratch again and had just three words to explain why.
Bad listening skills, Tortorella told Tom Reed of The Athletic.
Tortorella didn't elaborate any further. Earlier this season against the Winnipeg Jets, Duclair got just 24 seconds to play until Torts benched him.
The meetings we had today about some of the things we needed to do, if you're not ready to play you're not going to play, the Columbus head coach told Brian Hedger of the Columbus Dispatch earlier this season.
The Blue Jackets have won 5 out of their last 6 games and currently sit in the 3rd place in the Metropolitan Division.
