Report: Several teams contact Red Wings regarding Gustav Nyquist

Earlier this week, the Detroit Red Wings have approached forward Gustav Nyquist asking for his list of teams he would accept to be traded to. Since then, several teams have contacted the struggling Red Wings looking to acquire the 29-year old.

Nyquist, who is in the last remaining year of a 4-year, $19 million contract, was asked his list of teams he would accept a trade to. Although it is not clear if he did so, several teams have contacted the franchise regarding Nyquist's availability.

According to The Fourth Period, the New York Islanders, Nashville Predators and the Dallas Stars have contacted Detroit GM Ken Holland looking to acquire the winger.

So far this season, Nyquist has scored 15 goals and 33 assists for 48 points in 59 games.

What do you see either franchise offering up to acquire Nyquist in a trade before the February 25th Trade Deadline?
