Rumor: Mikael Granlund to Nashville Predators

As the trade deadline approaches, we have another member of the Minnesota Wild that could suffer the same fate as Charlie Coyle.

Michael Russo speculates that the Wild could be looking to trade Mikael Granlund, taking another step to tear down their current roster to initiate a rebuild. Pierre LeBrun not only agreed, but pointed out that the wild were interested in Predators forward Kevin Fiala.

The addition of Granlund to the Predators roster would really help their secondary scoring, and take some of the pressure off of players like Filip Forseberg and Viktor Arvidsson.

The 26-year old Granlund has 1 more year on his contact at 5.75 million per season. He currently has 15 goals and 49 points in 63 games with Minnesota this season.
