Historic night for Carey Price as he ties the franchise wins record with his 314th

Carey Price has set another club record as the Canadiens goaltender tied Jacques Plante with his 314th career win for the red, white and blue. Both Price and Plante sit at the top of the wins list ahead of the likes of Patrick Roy, Ken Dryden and Bill Durnan.

Price is a definite first ballot hall of fame goaltender, constructing a career which includes 7 all-star games, an Olympic gold medal and a Vezina trophy. Price will get a chance to set the Montreal franchise record when the Habs visit the Sharks later this week. Price will need to be sharp as the team continues along the dreaded west coast road trip. Considering he's well on his way to 400 wins, you can count on him to be sharp most nights.
