Report: Maple Leafs and Oilers discussed a deal involving Connor Brown and Adam Larsson

The Toronto Maple Leafs and Edmonton Oilers connected numerous times before the trade deadline, gathering more information about each other's wants and needs. These discussions included numerous assets and two names who recently surfaced were Toronto winger, Connor Brown and Edmonton D-Man, Adam Larsson.

The Maple Leafs were known to be in the market for a defenseman right down to the wire of the deadline. The Oilers, on the other hand, have numerous holes to fill throughout their lineup as they only have 4 players with more than 30 points.  Larsson is familiar with hearing his name on the market as he was apart of the infamous Taylor Hall one-for-one swap. The two teams are expected to resume talks in the summer.
