2 goaltenders call out the NHL on controversial call

Last night, the Boston-Toronto Game 5 was full of controversial calls, and the first goal scored was maybe more controversial since it was the first goal scored of the game.

With less than 9 minutes left in the third period, Auston Matthews scored the first goal. It was challenged right off the bat by Cassidy for goaltender interference. The call was reviewed, but in the end, the call stood. The controversial call came as a surprise since everybody thought it was going to be overturned. It was so controversial that even two goaltenders called out the NHL on it.
Wow. I guess they must have felt Rask wasn't gonna be able to come across but to me it doesn't matter, former Martin Biron stated on Twitter, contact was made and in my opinion should've been overturned.
Even Philadelphia Flyers Cam Talbot came out on Twitter also, and also called out the NHL for their way of reviewing calls.
Once again the NHL goalie interference review is flawed. Someone that's played the game in the blue paint should be in the situation room, Talbot stated as he retweeted Biron's tweet. Games are being lost in the playoffs and it's not right. #inconsistent
