Photos: Vancouver Canucks jersey changes expected for next season

According to Icethetics, a website which has become the leading news source related to NHL logos and jerseys, says that the Vancouver Canucks may make changes to their current home and road jerseys and even add some alternate jerseys for their 50th anniversary of the organization.

According to Icethetics, they state that they received a leaked catalogue, similar to one that was leaked last season. Although they say they don't know specifics, they believe a colour change and even maybe a logo change is to come for the 50th anniversary.
It's unclear whether the Canucks are working on sweeping changes or maybe just updating the crest to remove the superfluous "Vancouver" arched across the top. But I also wouldn't be that shocked to see a new primary logo to coincide with the 50th anniversary.
Don't expect the Canucks to return to the 1994 Skate Jersey colour scheme or logo, since it was a fan vote last season. But apparently, the Canucks may return with their old stick-in-the-rink design. If a major change doesn't happen, the removing of the "Vancouver" wordmark, or tweak the orca logo, or maybe just a simple shoulder patch adjustment.

Most teams reveal their adjustments at the NHL Entry Draft, and Vancouver may just do that since they are the hosts for this year's event.

Here are some ideas presented by some fans of the Vancouver Canucks organization:
