NHL Trade Rumor: Islanders Cal Clutterbuck to the Maple Leafs

The New York Islanders haven't been out of the playoffs for a week and the rumblings about moves have begun. With their bottom 6 forwards being an expensive group, the team will be looking to move on from a few names and Cal Clutterbuck is near the top of the list.
Sources close to the Maple Leafs management team have mentioned Clutterbuck's game is perfect for the Maple Leafs and would give them a different element up front. If the Islanders are willing to eat some salary off of Clutterbuck's deal, a move for Connor Brown makes a ton of sense and interests the Maple Leafs.

Brown had himself a down year but has offensive potential to replace the likes of Jordan Eberle who is expected to leave the Island in free agency. Clutterbuck on the other hand, is under contract for a few more seasons and would give the Maple Leafs some toughness they most visibly lack.

What are your thoughts on the potential swap?
