Report: James Reimer done in Florida

According to Pierre LeBrun the Florida Panthers are prepared to move on from goaltender James Reimer as speculation circulates the club is making room to try and sign Sergei Bobrovsky.

The 31-year-old Reimer has two years left on his contract at an AAV of $3.4 million per on the salary cap, and $3.1 million of actual cash owed. If a trade cannot be worked out LeBrun reports the Panthers are expected to buy Reimer out. If he's a free agent the believe is some potential destinations include the Calgary Flames, Toronto Maple Leafs, Carolina Hurricanes, and Buffalo Sabres.

The Panthers have a ton of cap space, a new coach, and a talented core, adding a Bobrovsky type goaltender could give them a massive boost.

For Reimer, his time in the sunshine state appears to be coming to an end.
