Rumor has it that Mitch Marner may be on his way to Long Island. According to @TheFourthPeriod David Pagnotta, a team is "very seriously considering" giving Marner an offer sheet. During a phone call on Sportsnet's 590 The FAN, Joey, Vendetta hinted that the team offering said sheet has "a history with the Leaf's." As far as value goes, the Islanders could offer him as high 12.5M AAV, and may happen as early as today, but term is still unknown.
