NHL Trade Rumor: Montreal listening to offers for Max Domi

Max Domi has spent his summer trolling Toronto Maple Leafs fans about how much better it is to play for Montreal and how Montreal has the best fans in the world. Turns out Montreal may not be Max Domi's home for long.

According to sources connected to the Habs, as many as 5 teams have called and checked in with GM, Marc Bergevin on the availability of Domi, the 24-year-old winger who finished his first year in Montreal with 72 points, playing in all 82 games.

Moving a player like Domi would be a hard sell for Bergevin to the fan base, however, if he is able to retrieve a star in return, Bergevin may pull the trigger.

The Winnipeg Jets, New Jersey Devils, New York Rangers, Chicago Blackhawks and LA Kings have all been linked to Domi's services.

Would a deal involving Patrik Laine and Domi interest the fan base in Montreal? Tyler Toffoli and Alec Martinez?

One thing we do know, teams like Winnipeg, Montreal, and New Jersey have been actively participating in trade discussions and something major is upon us.

Does it start with Domi?
