Report: Oilers talking Jesse Puljujarvi trade with Carolina and Tampa Bay

Jesse Puljujarvi isn't exactly sure where he will finish the 2019/2020 hockey season, one thing he does know, it won't be in Edmonton.

The former fourth overall pick could never find consistent ice time or production in limited minutes with the Blue and Orange, and the new brass of Management for the Oilers continue to work the phones to find Puljujarvi a new home.

According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, the Oilers have held talks recently with the Tampa Bay Lightning and Carolina Hurricanes.

Freidman mentions a name like Julien Gauthier of the Hurricanes who the Oilers are high on as his game is built on speed and skill. While Jim Matheson, an Edmonton based media member has also suggested draft picks and Taylor Raddish from Tampa Bay have perked up the ears of Ken Holland and company.

Raddish was a junior teammate of Connor McDavid and had a fantastic rookie season in the AHL, finishing the year with 46 points.

If you demanded a trade from Edmonton and ended up in Tampa Bay or Carolina, would you be upset?
