New York Islanders to stock up at deadline

With the recent loss of defenseman Adam Pelech's season-ending Achillles injury, the Islanders have a huge void to fill on their backend before the playoffs.

Arthur Staple of the Athletic recently listed Brenden Dillon(SJ) and Andy Greene(NJ) as possible replacements on the back end. Staple also suggested that New York Islanders GM Lou Lamoriello is looking to add scoring to his wings and lists possible trade targets as:
  • Tyler Toffoli (LA)
  • Conor Sheary (BUF)
  • Mikael Granlund (NSH)
Lou Lamoriello has never been shy to pull the trigger at the deadline, how active will the Isles GM be this year?
