Rumor: Wayne Simmonds getting traded; 3 potential destinations

The Philadelphia Flyers know if they want to make the playoffs, they are going to need to make some upgrades to their roster, and it appears their targeting a familiar face to help them out, as the team has held discussions with the New Jersey Devils about forward and ex-Flyer, Wayne Simmonds.

Simmonds is an unrestricted free agent at season's end, spent 7 seasons in the city of brotherly love, where is hard-nosed style was beloved by the Philly faithful.

The 31-year-old currently sits with 15 points in 42 games on a struggling Devils team, and is hopeful a deal can be worked out to a playoff contender.

Not only the Philadelphia Flyers, but also look for the Colorado Avalanche and Toronto Maple Leafs to make pitches to the Devils, as Simmonds toughness is an attractive piece for playoff bound teams.
