Crazy Video: ECHL player abused an official, hit with massive suspension

The ECHL is not messing around. The league announced Wednesday Jacksonville IceMen forward, Emerson Clark will be suspended 16 games for his role in a brawl against the Fort Wayne Komets last week.

Also suspended were Chase Stewart and Kyle Haas from Fort Wayne, both players receiving 6 games for fighting off the playing surface.

Clark's suspension stemmed from a combination of his game misconduct for abuse of an official and being a repeat offender. Clark was also fined.

The 27-year-old Quebec native has played throughout the minors including a stint with the Toronto Marlies last season.
