YIKES: Jets Mark Scheifele sued by former personal chef

Winnipeg Jets superstar Mark Scheifele has been sued by his former personal chef, Jeremy John Senaris, who was on the show MasterChef Canada back in 2016.

Senaris is asking for $75,000 in damages for what he's calling a 'wrongful dismissal and breach of contract,' according to the paperwork filed with the courts.

Scheifele has enough going on in Winnipeg trying to battle for playoff positioning, the team hopes this won't be a distraction off the ice, and from all accounts it won't be. Senaris is claiming that he was fired after Scheifele attempted to double his workload, and he's claiming also, he wasn't paid on time.

Scheifele's chef was employed from August 2017 to September 2018, according to the documents. He was originally hired for $50,000, including expenses and health benefits. Senaris claims he wasn't ever paid on time and the benefits were never provided as promised. There's also talk another player was supposed to get food from time to time and that never happened either.

To note - let's all let this play out in the justice system before passing judgements.
